Executive Director: Barbara Averill joined us July 1st, 2015. We are very pleased to have someone so highly qualified and motivated. Barbara was a Special Education teacher in local schools before developing and leading the special education program at the Cornville Regional Charter School. Prior to teaching she successfully ran a restaurant for ten years near Sugarloaf.

Services: We are committed to providing literacy, language development, writing, math, and computer skills, as well as English as a second language (ESL). We serve adult members in Franklin and Somerset Counties, and the towns of Jay, Livermore Falls and Livermore. LVFSC also promotes literacy among children, teens and families. Our trained volunteer tutors will work 1:1 with students to accomplish their goals.
Fees: We provide our services at no charge. LVFSC is a non-profit organization generously funded by the United Way of the Tri-Valley Area, grants, and corporate and individual donations.

Hours: LVFSC is located at the Mt. Blue RSU Adult Basic Education office on the Seamon Road in Farmington. We’re available in the office on Wednesday’s from 9am-12pm and other times by appointment.
